I put a lot of time and effort into my work and I am not the correct person to go to if you are looking for a discount costume. Many times, the material and labor for for part of a costume can be more than if you purchased the same item ready made. There will always be someone else willing to make a costume for less than what I charge (and there will always be someone willing to make it for more as well). If you are looking for high quality and great attention to detail, I feel my prices are reasonable. I also am careful to only take on projects that match my sewing skills and interests. You will never hear me claim that I can make ANY costume.
Sometimes when I decide to make a new costume for myself, I'll make an extra one for eBay at the same time. Lately I've had costumes from Card Captor Sakura and Tenshi Ni Narumon up for sale. Please check sailornaboo for current auctions.

My deluxe Sailor Moon costumes start at $200 (not including bootcovers).
Super Moon, Eternal Moon, Sailor Cosmos and Super Chibi Moon start at $300. The Eternal or Star Senshi are $250.
If you've already made your own Sailor Moon costume but you're unhappy with your footwear, take a look at my boot covers. The Sailor Saturn boot on the right is an example. They're made of stretchy PVC vinyl and start at $30. I'm really happy with how these look and I'm sure you will be as well. I just found a supplier of gold crescent moon shapes that are just perfect on a pair of Sailor Moon boots.

Most school uniform reproductions fall in the $200-$300 range. Coming very soon, I will be offering custom sized Japanese School Girl uniform patterns in a few styles. I plan on starting with Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus middle school uniforms and I'll add additional patterns as I get requests for them. Please write and let me know which patterns you are interested in. Make sure to include a picture or a link so I see exactly which uniform you would like.
A Card Captor Sakura style battle costume or other similar costume will be in the $300-$500 range. Pokemon style jackets are $50-$75 depending on size and detail.

Keeping these prices in mind, if you are still interested in a commission, please write to me at costumes@sailornaboo.com. Please include a jpg or a link to the outfit you have in mind since I don't know every anime and many characters have different looks.
I'm also happy to offer suggestions if you are making your own costumes and my links page also lists some wonderful costumers that also take commisions.
